Cannabis Bookkeeping
In 2014 PBS Inc., launched 502 Bookkeeping Services and became one of the first Washington State bookkeeping services to pioneer the cannabis industry.
Since then, the firm has quickly become a leader as cannabis bookkeeping experts by closely following and developing their knowledge of the prominent tax code, IRC 280e, maximizing COGS and collaborating with their client’s CPA’s.

Racheal is the founder and President of PBS Inc. She received her credentials as a Certified Bookkeeper through The American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers. With 35 years of accounting experience, she leads her team of number professionals with a focus on continued education, mentoring and improving standards of customer service.

Trisha is a Senior Accountant and has been with PBS Inc. since 2013. She has a background working within the banking industry at Key Bank. Her love of numbers inspired her to pursue further education in accounting where she received her Applied Associate’s Degree in Accounting with Honors through Green River College.

Julie is a Senior Accountant and has been with PBS Inc. since 2017. Julie started her 20 year career in accounting working as a bookkeeper at a family owned grocery store in Lewis County. From there she extended her experience working as a Senior Accountant at Twin Star Credit Union. Having been a small business owner herself, Julie acquired an intimate understanding of the nuts and bolts of small businesses.

Banking & Credit Documents
During the initial set up of your account with us, we will request limited access to pull certain monthly financial statements pertinent to the operation of your business. These financial documents are a crucial part of our Month End and Close process. An often overlooked component of your financials, the reconciliation of your business Balance Sheet accounts, insures that all transactions have been accounted for whether they are expenses, capital contributions, assets and liabilities such as loans and accrued state and federal taxes.

Payroll & Payroll Taxes
We are proud to announce that we have partnered with GUSTO PAYROLL as our choice for all of our client's Payroll & HR Services. As a partner with GUSTO Payroll, we are able to pull all of our clients reports and payroll tax returns. But which ever payroll service provider you have chosen, access to your payroll reports will allow us to ensure that your payroll expenses and tax liabilties are captured accurately on your financials.

State Excise & City B&O Taxes
We offer monthly, quarterly and annual services to file and pay your state excise tax returns as well as local city B&O tax returns. Our clients receive timely copies of their returns as well as confirmation of payment.

Financial Statements
Every month, we will provide you with basic financial statements; Profit & Loss and the Balance Sheet, once we have completed the "Month End Reconcile & Close." It is our job to make sure that you understand how to read your financial statements and so every 4 - 6 months we will request to schedule an appointment to review them with you.
